Lee Street Residence

The design challenge for this project was to create a modern home in downtown Raleigh, and still maintain a modest budget. The house has a simple footprint and was designed as a slab on grade house with stick framed walls and pre-engineered floor and roof trusses. Large windows were strategically placed to make the most of views to the downtown skyline and still protect privacy in an urban environment.
